It was hot, it was humid, it was midgy weather, it was definitely not ideal for running, but the black n reds turned out in force for the Inverness, Healthy Working Lives Jog Scotland 5k Challenge and junior challenge. In the junior run Cameron Brown was 1st, Evan Swart 2nd with Erin Robinson & her wee sister and Oscar Brown in the top 10. Unfortunately in the excitement I've forgotten exactly where they came in, but they all ran a brilliant race.
In the oldies race Steve Glew was the first clubby home in 8th place, closely followed by Hanna and Julie Cleghorn, me and Logan Mathieson. Then it was the turn of Craig Finlayson, Kim Gray, Adelle Mercer, Alison Cameron, Annelise Glew and Iona Mathieson. Fantastic effort everyone. Hope I haven't missed anyone.
Apologies to Hanna and Julie, we couldn't find you for the photo, but what a run from the Cleggy Duo, FANATASTIC run girls. A double FIRST for the Cleghorns.
