Many thanks to all who turned out yesterday, for our first Puffin Pool Santa Hat Run.  The weather was kind to us and everyone should have managed to stay dry for the run/walk/wheelchair events.  An especially BIG thank you to the helpers on the day, you know who you are and you did a fantastic job.  I've been asked to add another lap for those who want to run further, so next years event(s) may see a 5 and 10k. The Puffin Pool Santa Hat 5k  Fun Run Walk & Wheelchair takes place in Dingwall, starting at The Hydrotherapy Pool, Ross Memorial Hospital, on Sunday 15 December 2013.  Entry forms are available from the Puffin Pool or www.rosscountyac.com

REGISTRATION from 1.00pm
Starts :  WALKERS 2.15pm, WHEELCHAIR USERS 2.30pm, RUNNERS 2.45pm
THE RACE
The race is open to all participants and abilities, there is something for everyone.  There is no age limit and it does not matter if you walk, jog or run the course.
HEALTH
Please write your name and details of any health problems or medication on the reverse of your race number.  In the event of an emergency this information may be vital.  First-Aid personnel will be in attendance.  Please alert a race steward or a member of the first-aid team if medical assistance is required.   You should seek medical advice from your general practitioner if you are in any doubt about your physical ability to take part in the Puffin Pool 5km race.
SAFETY
Any child under 8yrs MUST be accompanied by an adult.
