On Saturday 6th August 2011, numerous RCAC Members took part in the Strathpeffer Highland Games.
The Prize Winners in the Junior events were:
Under 14 Girls Sprint - 1st Joanna MacDonald, 2nd Mhairi MacPhail, 3rd Rebecca Denoon
Under 14 Boys Sprint - Danny Ogilvie, 2nd Ewan Ogilvie, 3rd Finn Crockett
Under 16 Boys Sprint - 1st Jamie Ross, 2nd Douglas Holland, 3rd Johnny Grant
Under 14 Girls Shot Putt - 1st Catriona Holland, 2nd Rebecca Denoon, 3rd Joanna MacDonald
Under 14 Boys Shot Putt - 1st Danny Ogilvie, 2nd Ewan Ogilvie, 3rd Matty Grant
Under 16 Boys Shot Putt - 1st Johnny Grant, 2nd Jamie Ross, 3rd Douglas Holland

Under 16 Boys 800m - 1st Douglas Holland, 2nd Johnny Grant
Throughout the day, other RCAC members took part in various Track & Light Field events, Heavy Events, Cycling Events and also in the Highland Dancing. Club Members constantly featured in the prize list, for both the Local and the Open Events.
In particular, Aidan Finnie dominated in the Under-18 Heavy Events and James Robertson won all the day's Jumping Events. Malcolm Cleghorn and David Ogilvie took several prizes in the Open Heavy Events and Ken Pokorniecki won the inaugural Veteran's Sprint.
Megan Dale helped to entertain the crowd, while she regularly danced her way onto the Highland Dancing Winners Podium.
All in all, Club Members enyoyed a successful day in the Strathpeffer sunshine and fully deserved the plaudits of the appreciative large crowd
