Well it was a sit by the computer screen waiting for an update as to whether the race was on or not first thing yesterday! Eventually the organisers confirmed it was going ahead as planned. So all systems go to get the porridge eaten, suitably warm clothes and head off into inverness.
Annelise kindly carried Barry the Baton of Coasters 2010 fame round the windswept, rainy and sometimes sleety 13.1mile run. He had a great time even if a bit cold!
Tom Mathieson and Colin Gilmour were also running in the half marathon race and both ran really well.
Alison managed a PB on the day, taking 14mins off her previous time.

Several of our youngsters took part in the 5K fun run too, we also provided some volunteers to help with marshalling, chip removal and baggage control.
