Thank-you to everyone who was involved, in whatever and every capacity, at yesterdays hosting of the cross-country races. We had at least 251 runners, plus coaches, parents etc, nice one.
All of your hard-work and commitment was evident in every aspect of the day. The course was brilliantly prepared, marshalled, started and recorded, the catering cordon-bleu and plentiful, the racing a delight to see, especially so many new faces and the atmosphere first class. Every comment that I heard was positive and congratulatory.
For a wee club, we punched way above our weight and have been rewarded with nothing but praise, from all quarters. Now that we know we can do it, supremely, I hope we can do more of the same, next season.
